Deer skull
The red deer is a mammal belonging to the deer family and the deer genus. It is a large deer species second only to the moose, with a total of 8 subspecies. It is named after its body shape resembling a galloping horse. Body length is about 180 centimeters, shoulder height is 110-130 centimeters, adult male weighs about 200 kilograms, and female weighs about 150 kilograms. Due to different origins, there are also some differences in the morphology of deer. The body is dark brown with some white spots on the back and sides. Males have horns, usually divided into 6 forks, with a maximum of 8 forks, and the second fork of the furry horn is closely adjacent to the eyebrow fork. Summer fur is relatively short, without fuzz, generally reddish brown in color, with a darker back and a lighter belly, hence it is called "red deer".
